Lect. Nurettin KÖROĞLU

Nurettin Köroğlu is a lecturer in the Department of English Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University. Since 2013, he has been teaching General English, English listening and speaking skills, grammar, and other related subjects.

He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of French Language and Literature at Istanbul University (1988–1993)

and subsequently obtained a second bachelor’s degree from the Department of English Language Teaching at Anadolu University (2001–2005). He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Translation and Interpreting Programme at Ondokuz Mayıs University (2026– ).

Between 2007 and 2012, he worked as an English teacher in state schools in London and was involved in translation and interpreting activities. His academic and professional interests include translation studies, language education and intercultural communication.
